We spent the first greater portion of the day at Animal Kingdom. Wasn't bad but, compared to MGM, it didn't really have the "magic" feel that I got from being literally surrounded by Disney. This realization makes me wonder how I will react to being at Magic Kingdom on New Years Eve. *Flails gleefully.*
Then later, for dinner and to catch a few rides, we went to Epcot Center. Grabbed a couple of the rides that we half wanted to do that had really short lines, knowing that tomorrow is the day we had dedicated to that park and we could get the more important ones done then, and then went to eat. We ate in the Germany section, at a nice buffet. They had great food, and some live music came up on stage half way through our meal, and a bunch of people went down to the main floor and danced to it, it was so nice. *Grins* And I shopped, as I am prone to do. I'm the worse of my family so far, I just have to shop and shop and shop... especially anything that has to do with Sorceror Mickey, but tonight it was other stuff. Got my friend and roomate Jonothan a Das Boot drinking thingy, since he is always going on about it, and I got myself a REALLY nice shot glass. It just looked like a little metal sculpture of a dragon, but when you pick it up upside down, it's a shot glass. So you fill it, drink it, and then flip it over to slam it down, open side down to show it is empty, and you have a beautiful looking metal dragon. I am most pleased. ^______^
I also managed to pick up a few gifts for other people. Today was mostly shopping for others ^-^; A pin with pirate skulls, saying "Dead men tell no tales" for my friend Blackmore, and a Stitch waist bag for my little cousins, and a nice little photo album for my mum, since her new camara has been in constant motion this entire trip. *Shudders again.*
I can't beleive I am at Disney. I'm not poor, I've never been poor, but we've never had MONEY before, so I don't even know how we are here now. We've gone to Toronto a few times, or had other family fly us to Calgary, but both places we have family to stay with, and cook with, and such. This is way more. AND DISNEY.
And, as much as I say I love the feeling of the Disney "magic" that MGM and Magical Kingdom have... I really love that recreation of a bunch of countries that Epcot has, I absolutely love it. For me, to my eyes.... I get to shop across a bunch of awsome countries in on day, my wallet is going to scream in agony all day. Like I am right now >.>
My mum got to talking to some (albeit really nice people) at the resturaunt who sat near us, and we ended up leaving for our tram way late, so I had to run. RUN. I can barely walk anymore at this point, my ankle not used to being used as much as I have been forcing it. I have already been downing painkillers on aregular basis, and sat out half of Animal Kindom to rest it, and now I RAN; from as far into Epcot as you could get, to the furthest busstop there was, pushing past people who were leaving the firework display that ended half way through our desperate run. My ankle is less than happy, and I downed half my painkillers today >.>
Bonus, I get to sleep in tomorrow. My mum and brother are going back first thing in the morning to MGM to Fastpass some rides that I don't really want to go on, so I am goign to sleep in and then take the later tram into Epcot and meet them there for lunch, so I am rather pleased with that, anyway.
ANYWAY. I'll stop boring you all know with this silly long rant. (Gods I wrote a lot ^-^;;; )
With lots of sleepy love,
Deiwos
